Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
6+ years of experience in Accounts Payable or corporate accounting, with management or supervisory experience
Strong knowledge of end-to-end accounts payable processes, including invoice processing, approvals, and payment cycles
Proven ability to manage, coach, and develop an AP team
Experience working with ERP and accounting systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Workday, or similar)
Solid understanding of GAAP, internal controls, and compliance requirements
Oversight of month-end and year-end close related to accounts payable, including accruals and reconciliations
Experience managing vendor relationships and resolving escalated issues
Ability to implement and improve AP policies, procedures, and process efficiencies
Familiarity with regulatory requirements
Responsibility for payment scheduling, cash flow coordination, and working capital optimization
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail
Ability to manage deadlines and priorities in a fast-paced corporate environment
Experience in high-volume, multi-entity, or shared services environments preferred
