Why this role matters:
Our division supports the production team with creative technology solutions and technical design. To achieve the best goals and realize all incoming tasks we need to collect the technical specialist team with experience and creative mind in lighting, sound and video systems, truss structures, CG production, coding.
The video engineer is a specialist who is responsible for tasks related to video equipment and content, such as - projection calculation, setting servers, programming the show during production, operating, vjing and production of generative content. He is also responsible for all video and projection equipment.
What you'll actually do:
- 3D visualization of stages, shows, installations and other
- Show scenario programming with TouchDesigner, Resolume, Qlab
- Video equipment market updates and actual solutions check
- Operating with media servers, lasers, led screen, processors, interactive devices, cameras, LED sticks
- Stage and installation concept production
- Participating in concept production team groups and brainstorms
- Video fixtures and related items service and maintains
- Control of technicians in case of video equipment mounting on venue
- Audiovisual equipment mounting
- Development of interactive installations (that react to sound, light, people, etc.)
Who we’re looking for
- Three or more years in a rental / production service
- Video, servers, led screen and projection equipment understanding
- Mandatory software knowledge: Resolume, SketchUp, MS Office, AI, PS
- Bonus software knowledge: TouchDesigner, Notch, Autocad, Beyond, VVVV, Qlab, Ableton Live, Revit, VectorWorks
- Hardware: projectors, LED screens, video servers, Led stripes, lasers, kinetic winches, interactive tools, video processors(Brompton, Novastar TB60)
- Practical knowledge of budgeting and planning
- Protocol knowledge: video and data signals understanding
- Problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in live conditions and under pressure
- Language proficiency: English at Advanced level or higher
