We are looking for a Senior or M&A Analyst to join a leading advisory firm in Kazakhstan. The company works with top local and international clients in M&A and portfolio management. The role calls for sharp thinking, steady execution, and the drive to work on complex deals.

Responsibilities: 

• Take part in M&A and Debt Advisory projects from start to finish. This includes buy-side and sell-side work, joint ventures, venture capital and private equity deals.
• Build and review financial models.
• Run business valuations, financial analysis, and benchmarking.
• Prepare presentations, teasers, information memoranda, and analytical reports for clients.
• Research markets, shape strategies, and study competitors.
• Join negotiations and help maintain strong client relationships at every stage of the deal.
• Work closely with the Investment Director and firm partners to meet key goals. 

Requirements:

• Degree in finance or economics from a strong university. CFA is a plus.
• 1 to 4 years of experience in M&A, corporate finance, or valuation at an investment bank, internal M&A team, private equity or venture capital firm, or a Big Four firm.
• Solid financial modelling and valuation skills.
• Strong command of Excel, PowerPoint, and financial databases.
• Clear analytical thinking and strong communication.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage several priorities at once.
• Fluent in English and Russian. Kazakh is an advantage.
• International experience is a plus.
