Responsibilities:
Conduct inspection of incoming steel structures, piping, and related materials to ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards.
Identify and document any non-conformities or discrepancies during material receiving inspections.
Prepare detailed inspection reports and maintain proper records for traceability.
Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to address and resolve issues related to material quality and compliance.
Verify material certificates, test reports, and relevant documentation to confirm conformity with requirements.
Support warehouse and logistics teams to ensure proper handling, storage, and preservation of received materials.
Participate in meetings with procurement, QA/QC, and construction teams to provide feedback and ensure alignment on material quality issues.
Ensure all inspection activities are carried out in accordance with project quality plans, safety standards, and company procedures.
Requirements:
Proven experience in QA/QC inspection for material receiving, particularly steel structures and piping materials.
Strong knowledge of international standards (ASME, ASTM, API, ISO, etc.).
Ability to prepare inspection reports and maintain accurate records.
Effective communication and coordination skills for vendor interaction and issue resolution.
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills in identifying material discrepancies.
Proficiency in MS Office and QA/QC documentation systems.
Technical background in Mechanical Engineering or related field is an advantage.
