Key Responsibilities:
Lead and oversee the planning, design, and construction phases of building retrofit projects, ensuring delivery ontime, within budget, and to quality standards.
Coordinate with design consultants, contractors, and stakeholders to integrate retrofit solutions into existing buildingstructures with minimal disruption.
Manage project scope, schedule, cost, risk, and quality, applying project management best practices. Review and approve project plans, method statements, and technical submittals related to retrofit works. Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and sustainability targets. Monitor construction progress on-site, managing construction logistics, phasing, and interface with ongoing buildingoperations.
Lead coordination meetings and prepare regular project reports for clients and senior management. Manage change control processes, including scope changes, time extensions, and cost impacts. Oversee procurement strategies and ensure timely availability of materials and resources. Support handover and commissioning phases, ensuring proper documentation, testing, and closeout.Qualification
Qualifications:
15+ years of experience in managing complex construction projects, with proven experience in retrofitting/ren-ovating occupied buildings.
Strong understanding of MEP systems, structural strengthening, and phased retrofit methodologies. Familiarity with project management frameworks (e.g., PMBOK, FIDIC) and tools (MS Project, Primavera). Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills. PMP, PRINCE2, or similar certification is a plus. Experience working with government, institutional, or commercial clients is preferred. Language: Fluency in Uzbek and Russian; good command of English (spoken and written). Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management.Tashkent 5/2, with regular trips to site as required.
