An international company of 100+ employees created by IT engineers is looking for an Infrastructure Lead / Head of Infrastructure. The company specializes in creating niche software for large international banks and investment funds.

We are looking for a Lead with experience in IT management for global financial companies and deep expertise in large-scale corporate infrastructure operations.

Relocation to Cyprus

As a Head of infrastructure you will be responsible for:

• planning, designing, implementing, and maintaining the IT infrastructure of the company;
• infrastructure budgeting and cost optimization;
• managing projects, schedules, resources, and vendors, as well as ensuring compliance with standards, policies, and regulations;
• incident and problem management;
• supervising and mentoring the IT infrastructure team up to 40 specialists, who may have different areas of expertise, such as servers, storage, network, security, cloud, virtualization etc.;
• acting as a liaison between the IT infrastructure team and other IT teams, such as development, operations, or support, as well as the business stakeholders and customers.

Required experience:

• Master`s degree in a Computer Science, Information Technology, Applied Mathematics etc.;
• strong leadership and team management skills;
• 15+ years' in-depth knowledge of infrastructure technologies, including servers, storage, networking, and virtualization;
• 10+ years’ experience in IT infrastructure management, incident management, or a related field;
• 7+ years’ experience with ITIL or Service Management best practices;
• experience in fintech field is required;
• deep understanding of cloud operations;
• fluency in English;
• project management experience and relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, ITIL) preferred;
• excellent problem-solving, decision-making abilities, critical-thinking skills and ability to determine root cause;
• strong understanding of security best practices and compliance standards;
• ability to choose the best and most profitable technical solutions for the company;
• exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
