Job Description The Senior Psychologist performs the following duties and responsibilities: individual and group consultations for the University community; management of therapeutic groups; participation in the organization and, if necessary, in the provision of crisis psychological assistance; conducting master classes, seminars, trainings on psychological health issues; regular professional development through participation in seminars, conferences, training programs, intensive courses, ten-day campaigns, and master classes; participation in the process of planning the Center's budget, as well as the preparation of annual reports; organization of psychological assistance, study and satisfaction of the needs of persons with disabilities; participation in the processes of identification, assessment, management and monitoring of risks within the framework of supervised direction; development of outreach programs for students, faculty and staff of the University; monitoring of use of Titanium Schedule Software and participation in the renewal of its annual subscription; participation in joining process to the membership of organizations and associations; timely and proper fulfillment of other orders of the Chief Counselor and the University management within the framework of his/her responsibilities and powers; timely and properly executes the tasks of the line manager and the University`s management; observes the requirements of the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Employer`s internal documents; is responsible for exercising the labor and performance discipline; is responsible for ensuring the integrity of official documents, and prevention of the disclosure or leakage of confidential and business information, as well as information of restricted access in accordance with the legislation, Charter and internal documents of the Employer;   in case of dismissal, is responsible for timely transfer of all paper documentation, digital information, inventory to another employee as instructed by the line manager (to be certified by the act of acceptance-transfer).   Qualifications Education: Higher professional education, preferably in higher educational institutions with English language of instruction. Preferably a degree of at least a master's degree or a specialist in psychology, pedagogy and psychology, psychotherapy. If you have an education in the CIS countries, you must have a certificate of Institutes accredited by International Associations or International Institutes in the field of psychology or psychotherapy. Priority areas of specialties: - Psychology; - Psychotherapy; - Pedagogy and psychology; - Psychological counseling Work experience:  At least 5 years of work experience as a psychologist, psychotherapist in educational institutions, medical institutions, private practice, documented (certificate of registration), at least 3 years with a master's degree in the relevant field.  Knowledge: -Knowledge of the Ethical code of Psychologists of the Republic of Kazakhstan; -The Senior Psychologist must have in-depth knowledge and experience in the application of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to provide quality counseling and therapy sessions with clients -knowledge of MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint programs; - fluency in Kazakh, English and Russian languages.
