We are looking for a Personnel Officer in Astana to enhance our team in Kazakhstan.
In this role, you will manage employee records, oversee hiring and terminations, and ensure compliance with labor laws while supporting various personnel functions.

What you’ll do
Managing personnel records in 1C: ZUP (version 8.3) in full (staff of 600 people): hiring, transfers, terminations; vacations, business trips, tracking absences;
Forming and maintaining personal files of employees, making changes related to employment, maintaining employment records;
Maintaining journals for document registration related to personnel records;
Keeping track of working hours, tracking employee vacation entitlements, tracking days of temporary disability, entering information into the 1C ZUP database;
Compiling and verifying time sheets for employee working hours;
Maintaining military records in accordance with the requirements of the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
Knowledge of the organization’s structure, compiling/correcting the organizational chart;
Preparing and issuing certificates of employment for employees;
Drafting employment contracts, contracts of material responsibility, and other personnel documents;
Preparing personnel documents for storage in the archive;
Preparing necessary documents for visa applications;
Submitting notifications of the arrival of foreigners in Kazakhstan, preparing documents for the issuance of a residence permit (RVP);
Working in the electronic system for tracking employment contracts (ESUTD, enbek.kz) – registering concluded employment contracts, registering terminations of employment contracts, posting job vacancies;
Forming and submitting reports to government agencies;
Monitoring employee discipline, rewarding and disciplining employees based on their performance;
Consulting employees on labor law and legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
Developing internal documents regulating administrative and personnel work;
Replacing the office manager in their absence (vacation, sick leave, etc.) (processing and registering incoming/outgoing correspondence, distributing phone calls, corresponding with third-party organizations, working with office equipment, meeting visitors).
What you have:
Higher education (additional education, courses, seminars, training in personnel management is a plus);
Experience in a similar position of at least 3 years;
Knowledge of the current Labor Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
Proficient PC user, knowledge of 1C:ZUP (version 8.3);
Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel);
Ability to work with electronic systems and electronic document management;
Knowledge of English at least A2+ level (is a plus);
Knowledge of the state language;
Ability to work in a multitasking environment;
Responsibility, attentiveness, diligence, discipline, and good communication skills.
