Key responsibilities:
Support packaging and securing investor interest for flagship infrastructure projects, including contribution to signing MoUs/LoIs with potential investors;
Conduct verification of investment projects and prepare investor-ready materials (teasers, financial models, presentations);
Conduct investor outreach, including identification and direct engagement with qualified investors, presentation of investment opportunities, and participation in investment events and pitching sessions;
Support structuring and promotion of government-assigned strategic investment projects and ensure their readiness for investor engagement;
Support engagement with International Financial Institutions (IFIs), Islamic finance institutions, and strategic investors, including development of co-financing opportunities and strategic partnerships;
Participate in identification of regulatory bottlenecks and preparation of policy proposals aimed at improving investment climate and attracting FDI;
Contribute to initiatives related to SEZ development and investment structuring;
Prepare reports and ensure timely tracking and reporting of activities against KPIs;
Participate in updating internal processes and training team members on new programs or procedures;
Qualifications and experience:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business administration or other related major. Master’s degree preferred, MBA degree is advantage;
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in cross-border M&A at an investment bank, investment fund, an M&A boutique, Big 4 or in a corporate development department of a multinational company or similar industry.

Ability to develop and implement policies and procedures under supervision of Department’s Director;
Ability to present and communicate findings/data effectively;
Ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders;
Have strong time-management, organizational and follow-up abilities to support the office system in smooth and efficient running.
Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Power point, Excell, Word etc.);
Advanced financial modelling skills are essential, CFA would be an asset;
Knowledge of languages: Kazakh, Russian, English.
