Key Responsibilities
Process daily accounting entries and maintain accurate financial records for the Kazakhstan entity
Handle accounts payable, employee expenses, and payment processing
Prepare and maintain accurate financial documentation and records
Assist with monthly bank reconciliations and other account reconciliations
Support preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
Monitor accounts receivable and accounts payable
Assist with payroll processing and related documentation
Support tax filing and ensure compliance with Kazakhstan labour and tax regulations
Maintain an organized financial document filing system
Assist in audit preparation and provide required financial documentation
Liaise with internal departments and external vendors/contractors on financial matters
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting or finance (preferred)
Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and financial reporting
Proficiency in accounting software and confident Microsoft Excel skills
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Good communication skills; proficiency in English and Russian/Kazakh is an advantage
Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
Nice to Have
Experience with ERP systems or modern accounting platforms
Familiarity with local tax compliance requirements in Kazakhstan
Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and demonstrate analytical thinking
Experience working in a multi-currency or international finance environment
