Awareness of Company’s Quality Policy. Contract Activities:

o At pre-contract stage, the work involves the review of the Client’s standard contract conditions and
the associated bid documentation and if necessary, the proposal of alternative text/clauses or
comments to these conditions and bid documents, including reviews of issues associated with
legal matters, risk management, tax and accounting, cost and scheduling, engineering and con-
struction personnel as conditions precedent to submitting bid documentation to the Client for final
approval. Thereafter, the work entails coordinating the preparation and submission of the invita-
tion-to-bid (ITB) packages to bidders, including processing clarifications from bidders, preparation
of bid evaluation programs, contractual evaluation of bids and negotiation with bidders, leading to
contract preparation and the award of contracts.
o At post-award stage, the work includes conducting kick – off meetings, administration of the as-
signed contracts to ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions, coordinating all con-
tract submittals and correspondence, preparation of amendments to contracts, contractual letters
for Client, contract interpretation as necessary, preparation and processing of Change Orders,
assisting in the resolution of claims and the eventual close out together with constructive feedback
on Lessons Learned from the Contract Development and Administration activities.

Procurement activities:

o Research and evaluate suppliers based on quality, price, delivery, and reliability
o Issue purchase orders and manage procurement documentation
o Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with vendors
o Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with departments to forecast needs
o Ensure timely delivery of products and resolve supply issues
o Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and contracts
o Collaborate with internal teams to align procurement with business goals
o Analyze market trends and supplier performance to optimize purchasing strategy
o Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements
o Maintain accurate and organized procurement records and documentation.
o Coordinate with logistics teams to ensure timely delivery and distribution of goods.
o Generate reports on procurement activities, costs, and supplier performance.
o Work closely with internal departments to understand procurement needs and specifications
o Ensure compliance with company policies, legal regulations, and ethical standards.
o Work closely with internal departments to coordinate needs and specifications.

Qualification

Competency requirements:

Must have sound knowledge and understanding of contractual terms and conditions. Must have good contract and commercial awareness. Familiar with all phases of EPC Contracts. Awareness of compliance and audit processes. Ability to identify changes and improvements to contract procedures to reflect Client’s changing requirements. Ability to initiate and promote the function of contract administration throughout the validity of the contracts. Strong negotiation and communication skills Knowledge of procurement and supply chain principles Proficiency in procurement software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Coupa) Ability to analyze data and make cost-effective purchasing decisions Attention to detail and organizational skills Time management and the ability to handle multiple priorities Understanding of contract law and vendor compliance standards

Education:

o Bachelor/Master degree in finance or technical is minimum requirement.
o Proven experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management.
o Strong negotiation, analytical, and organizational skills.
o Knowledge of procurement best practices and market research techniques.
o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
o Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
o Experience working directly with main clients is preferred.

Language skills: English and Russian are mandatory. Kazakh is advantageous
Professional experience: Min 10 years
