Andersen is seeking a Product Owner to drive evolution of integrated travel platforms, aligning booking, CRM, and finance systems to deliver scalable, data-driven solutions and seamless user experiences.
The customer is a technology-driven company in the travel sector, providing a comprehensive booking and procurement platform for industry professionals. Its solutions support large transaction volumes, integrate with a wide network of partners, and offer tools that streamline operations and enhance productivity. Focused on innovation and scalability, the customer continues to expand its ecosystem, strengthen partnerships, and improve data accuracy to deliver a modern digital infrastructure for the travel value chain.
The project is focused on evolving and integrating a suite of core travel platforms that support booking, CRM, finance, and supplier content management across the organization. These interconnected systems enable advisors and internal teams to manage itineraries, transactions, and partner data efficiently, ensuring seamless workflows and real-time collaboration within a unified product ecosystem.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting needs assessments with clients to identify business requirements to translate into features or "user stories".
- Determining scope and preparing requirements documents for projects to ensure scope and business requirements are understood and acceptable to stakeholders.
- Investigating and analyzing problems, business processes and requirements to recommend appropriate solutions.
- Creating and managing the Product Backlog
- Providing direction to internal and external users and assisting in the effective and efficient resolution of issues.
- Working as a team member with other technical staff, to ensure connectivity and compatibility between systems.
- Communicating between the stakeholders and the pod
- Preparing detailed flow charts and diagrams outlining system capabilities and processes.
- Documenting system problems and resolutions for future references.
- Assisting in the product road-mapping process and supporting long-term planning. Prepare and handle the planning and refinement inside the Scrum team.
- May leading/managing efforts for various components of a technology project.
Must-haves:
- Experience as a Business Analyst / Product Owner for 3+ years.
- Excellent organization, planning and prioritization skills.
- Proactive approach to problems and issues, working ahead of potential "glitches".
- Skilled in performing structured business analysis on medium to large projects.
- Skilled in analysis, problem solving, critical thinking and decision making.
- Understanding the business and practical needs of users.
- Skilled in understanding and using standard application development design, report and project management tools.
- Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
- Ability to effectively participate in multiple major projects or project roles or lead a variety of project team activities/tasks.
- Able to effectively communicate technical concepts to other members of the team, both technical and non-technical.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills as well as presentation skills.
- Content development and editing skills. Excellent teamwork and team-building skills.
- Level of English – from Intermediate+ and above.
Nice-to-haves:
- Experience in the travel industry as an asset. Work experience in ecommerce is preferred.
