Teaching responsibilities include:

• Teaching 4 courses per one semester in the field of expertise;
• Keeping current in research and pedagogy in the field of expertise;
• Engage in course and program development when necessary;
• Select textbooks and other teaching materials for the classes taught;
• Select library materials in the field of their expertise and teaching;
• Prepare syllabi, lectures and other teaching materials for their courses;
• Provide timely input to students with regards to progress in their courses;
• Maintain regular office hours.

Service activities involve:

• Attend department meetings regularly;
• Serve on various committees at the School and University level;
• Maintain an active role in the academic community on the School and University level;
• Assist and participate in the Organization of academic conferences;
• Advise students on course offerings and general academic matters.

We are seeking a candidate with a PhD or MSc degree in Computer Science. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of the core courses in Computer Science.
