Who will you be working with?
You will be part of a dynamic and innovative Global Engineering Team focused on delivering cutting-edge electrical systems for locomotives. This team collaborates closely with senior technologists, cross-functional engineering groups, and global stakeholders to drive high-impact projects that shape the future of rail transportation.
How will you make a difference?
As a member of the Electrical Engineering team, you will be responsible for the engineering design of electrical systems for locomotives, including point-to-point wiring, schematics, and packaging. You will work on high-visibility global projects that leverage the latest technologies and have a direct impact on business outcomes. Your role will involve collaborating with senior engineers and leaders, supporting manufacturing, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, innovative solutions that meet technical, safety, and performance standards.

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical EngineeringSolid understanding and hands-on experience with electrical schematics and wire listsProficiency in tools such as Wilmor, Oracle, NX, and Microsoft Office SuiteStrong understanding of engineering drawings and manufacturing BOMsFamiliarity with design, test, and analysis tools and systemsExcellent oral and written communication skillsStrong interpersonal and leadership capabilitiesLegal authorization to work in Kazakhstan is required.What will your typical day look like?
Execute analysis, design, testing, and integration of electrical components and systems under guidance from senior engineersDevelop concept and detailed designs for locomotive wiring schematics, point-to-point information, and wire listsSupport mechanical routing and packaging of power cabling, control and network wiring, conduits, and electrical componentsParticipate in 3D wiring development and design reviewsInterface with drafting teams to implement design changes and drawing updatesProvide technical support to ensure timely and quality deliverables from the teamBenchmark tools and processes against industry standards to drive continuous improvementSupport manufacturing by resolving shop floor issues and ensuring effective communicationParticipate in field testing, validation, and technical design reviews, and ensure closure of assigned action itemsWe will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
