Job description

Knowledge and experience in international PMC contracts related to the development and execution EPC Contracts. Experience in Pipelines, Gas-Turbine Compressors and Power Generation, particularly in respect of Compressor or Power Stations. Contracts Development Experience, supporting the drafting of technical scope of work of ITB’s, particularly for EPC scope and Lump Sum conditions. Relevant skills include, starting from the Heat & Material Balances by using process simulator software, the preparation of the process deliverables such as PFD, PI&Ds, Blowdown Calculation Report, Supply Spec for Packages (Turbo Compressor, Instrument Air, Fuel Gas Treatment, utility), sizing of equipment, PSV, BDV, Control Valve, and instrumentation to be implemented in the data sheets. Proved capacity in performing hydraulic and thermal calculations on pipeline and piping systems in steady than transient operation. Experience in P&IDs, HAZID, HAZOP, EIA, 3D Models multidisciplinary reviews. Experience in HAZOP / HAZID / LOPA Facilitation. Experience in technical Bid Evaluations, technical check of the performance data and contractual performance guarantee for critical equipment/packages such as turbo compressors, fuel gas systems, gas treatment plants, gas fiscal metering systems, utility plants, etc. Experience in reviewing FERA / QRA / EERA reports and updating layout drawings based on this analysis. Preparation and hands-on experience in Process engineering documentation (specifications, philosophies, equipment data sheets, etc.), including training/mentoring of local staff, where applicable. Experience in major Onshore or Offshore Oil & Gas Projects, or for Major Oil Company or EPC Contractor would be a plus. Experience in pre-award technical activities, involving qualification of Bidders, would be preferable Contracts Development Experience, supporting the drafting of technical scope of work of ITB’s, particularly for EPC scope and Lump Sum conditions. Experience in Bowtie analysis and HFE Input to coaching, teaching, mentoring and effective supervision of assigned personnel.

Qualification

Must have sound knowledge and understanding of technical terms and conditions. Familiar with all phases of EPC Contracts. Awareness of compliance and audit processes. Ability to identify changes and improvements to the technical documentation and procedures to reflect Client’s changing requirements. Knowledge of computer-based systems including, CAD, Database Management systems, Excel, Word, Microsoft Office or equivalent software packages. Be proactive, a self-starter and ability to work without supervision. Systematic thinker and good organizational skills/ time management. Strong personality with ability to be firm and persuasive without authority. Team player within and across functions. Sensitive to Client’s requirements and Client-focused. HAZOP Leadership Certificate

Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering is minimum requirement. Master’s degree preferred
Language skills: Russian and English are mandatory. Kazakh is advantageous
Professional experience: Min 10 years – technical experience; Min 5 years – managerial experience
