We would like to recruit a passionate, dedicated, and experienced Primary School Teacher of Mathematics to join our expanding school.
Candidates are expected to possess a commitment to creating and managing a caring, supportive, purposeful, and stimulating learning environment which is conducive to children’s learning. Candidates should also be able to easily adapt to new cultures and environments.
Responsibilities:
Design, prepare and deliver high-quality Mathematics lessons to suit the individual needs of all students;
Teach and educate students according to the educational needs, abilities, and attainment potential of individual students;
Possess a creative and enthusiastic approach both in and out of the classroom;
Demonstrate excellent IT and interpersonal communication skills in order to work collaboratively with staff, students, and parents;
Support the learning of individuals and groups of students as identified in the weekly curriculum planning and act as a role model, setting high expectations;
Observe, record, and support the development and progress of students, identifying individual needs and providing feedback on progress and achievement;
Actively contribute to the wider life of the school by organizing and running appropriate extracurricular and out-of-school learning activities;
Plan work according to schemes of work, taking into account the curriculum and international programs;
Collaborate with other teachers to share new ideas, approaches, and professional knowledge;
Be an active presence in the school.
Requirements:
Higher Degree Diploma: Teacher of Mathematics;
At least 3 years of teaching experience, preferably in international schools;
Fluency in English is a must;
Preferably experienced in teaching using Cambridge, IB and/or Singapore Mathematics methodologies;
Strong organizational and time management skills;
