We would like to recruit a passionate, dedicated, and experienced Secondary School Art Teacher for the 2025–2026 academic year.
Candidates are expected to possess a commitment to creating and managing a caring, supportive, purposeful, and stimulating learning environment which is conducive to children’s artistic and creative development. Candidates should also be able to adapt to new cultures and environments easily.
Responsibilities:
Design, prepare, and deliver engaging art lessons that nurture creativity, imagination, and individual expression of students;
Teach and guide students according to their educational needs, abilities, and artistic potential;
Encourage students to experiment with different artistic techniques, materials, and styles;
Present excellent IT and interpersonal communication skills to work collaboratively with staff, students, and parents;
Support the learning of individuals and groups of students as identified in the weekly curriculum planning and act as a role model, setting high expectations;
Observe, assess, and support the artistic development and progress of students, providing constructive feedback to help them grow;
Actively contribute to the wider life of the school by organizing and running extracurricular art clubs, exhibitions, and creative projects;
Plan lessons in line with the curriculum and international educational standards;
Collaborate with other teachers to share ideas, approaches, and professional knowledge;
Be an active presence in the school community.
Our requirements:
Higher Degree Diploma in Fine Arts, Art Education, or related field;
At least 1 year of teaching experience, preferably in international schools;
Fluency in English is a must;
Excellent lifelong learning skills;
Excellent organizational and time management skills;
Strong communication and classroom management skills;
High sense of responsibility, creativity, and flexibility.
