About The Role
This role has been created as part of a major transformation within IT Operations, with a strong focus on building a modern, innovative monitoring function.
Together with you, we aim to create a highly technological, efficient, and reliable monitoring division. You will help us design and implement cutting-edge processes, tools, and solutions - including AI-driven approaches that will enable us to detect system deviations early, respond quickly, and resolve issues effectively.
We are looking for a proven leader who has at least three years of experience managing monitoring teams, with a strong track record in both people and process management.

Responsibilities
Lead and develop the Monitoring Team (Duty Engineers and Monitoring Development).
Design and implement monitoring processes, metrics, and best practices.
Build a strong Duty Team with solid administration skills to efficiently resolve typical infrastructure and application issues during work shifts.
Ensure flawless duty operations: timely alert response, problem resolution, and effective escalation when needed.
Act as a Problem Manager, overseeing postmortem processes and leading the problem review committee.
Develop regular reports on monitoring team performance, metrics, and outcomes.
Select and implement a unified duty panel to consolidate all monitoring alerts.
Introduce AI-based solutions for proactive issue detection and faster incident handling.
Guarantee system observability and drive improvements in incident response times.
Collaborate closely with other IT Operations teams to enhance reliability and efficiency.
Drive continuous improvements in monitoring strategy, tools, and workflows.
Qualifications
3+ years of proven experience as Head of Monitoring in large-scale, complex, preferably geo-distributed infrastructures.
5+ years of management experience in IT operations or related areas.
Deep understanding of monitoring team structures, processes, and key metricsplus the ability to measure and improve them effectively.
Hold a proactive mindset, ready to build monitoring processes and tools from scratch, as well as rebuild and improve existing onesnot only within your own team, but also by supporting other teams across the Operations Department.
Strong technical background as a System Administrator, System Engineer, or Developer.
Solid hands-on experience with the following stack: Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana, JIRA, ELK/Graylog, Confluence.
Good knowledge of the ITIL framework, particularly in Event, Incident, and Problem Management.
Strong leadership and people-management skills, with the ability to balance operational execution and strategic initiatives.
English at B2 level or higher, fluent Russian.
