Описание

Responsibilities:
  • Develop technical specifications, datasheets, and requisitions for static equipment.
  • Perform mechanical design calculations in accordance with international codes (ASME, API, TEMA, EN) and local standards (e.g., GOST for Kazakhstan projects).
  • Review and approve vendor documents including GA drawings, fabrication procedures, welding specifications, and test plans.
  • Ensure compliance with project requirements, client specifications, and safety standards.
  • Support procurement by evaluating vendor offers and providing technical clarifications.
  • Coordinate with process, piping, civil/structural, and instrumentation disciplines.
  • Provide support during FAT, SAT, site installation, and commissioning.
  • Ensure equipment is designed for operability, maintainability, and reliability, considering extreme site conditions (e.g., low ambient temperatures).
  • Participate in HAZOP, HAZID, and design review meetings.
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards and manage vendor non-conformities.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in oil & gas, petrochemical, or power plant projects with focus on static equipment.
  • Strong knowledge of design codes: ASME VIII Div.1/2, API 650/660/661, TEMA, EN, GOST.
  • Proficiency in design software (PV Elite, Compress, HTRI, AutoPIPE, Caesar II for nozzle loads).
  • Experience with vendor management and international fabrication.
  • Familiarity with Kazakhstan regulatory requirements and local fabrication practices (preferred).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
