About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to lead our growth initiatives in the European civil explosives industry. You will be joining a dynamic and growing company specializing in the production and sales of civil explosives, with successful operations across multiple international locations. As part of our strategic expansion, this role will focus heavily on identifying and developing opportunities in the Kazakh market.

This is a location-flexible position, the selected candidate can reside in Kazakhstan, as long as they can travel as required.

Salary details will be discussed and determined during the interview process, based on qualifications and experience.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze the civil explosive market and identify new opportunities.
• Conduct competitive analysis and track competitors' strategies.
• Develop and implement the company's business development strategies.
• Create and implement regional business development strategies.
• Identify investment and growth opportunities.
• Develop collaborations with potential business partners.
• Evaluate local and international business development opportunities.
• Develop long-term growth strategies for target markets.
• Provide strategic recommendations to top management.
• Establish and strengthen relationships with local companies, governmental institutions, and other stakeholders.
• Strengthen relationships with existing customers and ensure new customer acquisition.
• Understand customer needs and provide appropriate solutions.
• Develop new projects and manage existing projects.
• Monitor and report on project processes.
• Assess the financial feasibility of projects.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 10 years of experience in the civil explosives industry.
• Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university (engineering, business, or related fields preferred).
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership abilities.
• No travel restrictions – must be willing to travel internationally and domestically as required.
