Planate Management Group (PMG) is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) headquartered in Alexandria, Virginia, and Orlando, Florida USA with technical support centers in South East Asia and East Africa, that provide program management and facilities engineering services worldwide. Planate is a small business provider of planning, design, infrastructure management, technical consulting, engineering, and construction management services in support of the US Department of Defense (DOD) and its Service (Army, Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps) missions, along with other US federal agencies, all over the world.

We are seeking Quality Control Systems Manager (QCSM) to support a U.S. Government-funded Design-Build contract for the construction of a new dormitory facility at the Bitimger Training Area in Almaty, Kazakhstan.

This project includes:

Design and construction of a new 2-story steel-framed dormitory Demolition of existing concrete paving Site grading and associated works

This opportunity is contingent upon contract award.

Key responsibilities:

Implement and manage the Quality Control Program in accordance with U.S. Government construction standards Conduct and document the Three Phases of Quality Control: Preparatory, Initial, and Follow-up Coordinate with project teams to ensure compliance with contract specifications and safety standards Maintain detailed records of inspections, tests, and corrective actions Serve as the primary point of contact for all quality-related matters on site

Qualifications to be successful in the role:

Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality control for similar construction projects Strong knowledge of U.S. Government construction quality standards and procedures Successfully completed the USACE Quality Control Manager (QCM) training Fluent in English with strong verbal and written communication skills
