The IT company Andersen invites a QA Engineer (Mobile) in Kazakhstan to work on a large-scale project in the field of FinTech.
The customer is the market leader and the largest microfinance organisation in Kazakhstan. It represents a business model of a classic microfinance organization, successfully adapted to the economy of Kazakhstan, focused on financing micro and small businesses, predominantly in rural areas. The company is focused on building long-term partnership relationships with clients based on mutual trust, understanding, and respect.
The project involves a comprehensive transformation where the company is restructuring its processes to transition into a fully operational bank. This endeavor includes significant improvements to the software used by employees in their interactions with clients.
Responsibilities:
- Performing software testing.
- Discussing patches with all development participants.
- Tracking the patching process.
- Maintaining test documentation.
Must-haves:
- Experience as a QA Engineer for 2,5+ years.
- Experience in mobile testing.
- Experience working with databases (any, e.g., PostgreSQL).
- Proficiency in SQL for writing intermediate-level queries (ability to retrieve any information from the database for testing without involving a programmer).
- Ability to work with sending requests via Postman/Swagger, received from a developer.
- Understanding of Git/Bitbucket and ability to work with Git through the terminal.
- Experience in writing test documentation.
- Understanding of CI principles.
- Ability to decompose complex tasks and large technical specifications.
- Understanding the principle of one of the design patterns of automated tests.
- Support existing tests.
- Experience with Agile methodologies (Kanban, Scrum).
- Experience working with JIRA.
- Ability to conduct presentations, compose and deliver reports.
- Level of English – from Intermediate.
Nice-to-haves:
- Ability to work with data logging systems.
- Knowledge of object-oriented programming principles (any language, e.g., C+, Java, Python, etc.).
- Ability to work with development tools (editors, IDEs).
