We're Hiring: Maintenance Technician – Fully Automated Production Lines
Location: Ghent, Belgium
Contract: 1-year fixed term, with potential for a permanent contract after a positive evaluation

You will be part of a dedicated technical team responsible for keeping our cutting-edge production systems running at peak performance.
Your Responsibilities
Troubleshoot and solve technical issues (electrical, mechanical, PLC, motors, pumps, sensors, etc.)
Optimize automated installations to boost output, quality, and reliability
Perform both preventive and corrective maintenance tasks
Repair or replace defective components according to safety regulations and documentation
Support and train colleagues
Contribute to the launch of new installations and car models
Collaborate in a close-knit team environment
Your Profile
Technical degree or equivalent experience (e.g. Bachelor in Electromechanics, Energy Tech, or 7th Secondary in Electrical/Control Techniques)
PLC and automated system experience is essential (e.g. Siemens TiA, ABB, IRC5, etc.)
Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn
Flexibility in tasks and work hours
Comfortable working in a 2-shift system or fixed night shift
English B2-C1 level is required; willingness to learn Dutch (training provided)
Bonus: BA4 or BA5 certification
Compensation & Benefits
Gross hourly rate: from €24.59/hour (based on experience)
Monthly gross salary:
Early/Late shift: approx. €4600
Night shift: approx. €5200
Estimated net salary:
Early/Late shift: approx. €2800
Night shift: approx. €3000
Shift allowances:
+11% (early/late)
+26% (night)
Meal vouchers: €6/day
Working hours:
Early: 5:15 – 13:30
Late: 13:30 – 21:30
Night: 21:30 – 5:15
