Duties and Responsibilities:
To support the class teacher in her work, and to helps to maintain the class room environment:
to help in maintaining order in the classroom, monitor pupils to keep them on attention to the studies.
to be aware of and attend to the needs of the pupils.
to alert the teacher to special needs of individual pupils.
assist in establishing and maintaining standards of pupil behaviour.
supervising pupils while having food, in the hallways, playground and at recess.
to help pupil with special needs.
collect and distribute lesson material.
arrange class furniture and equipment appropriate to the lesson setting.
assist children when boarding and disembarking from the school bus, and the proper placement of their bags in the bus.
monitor and report discipline and behaviour problems to the teacher.
to take all necessary and reasonable precautions to protect pupils, equipment, materials, and facilities.
to collect and display suitable material for educational displays, prepare displays, decorate classroom.
to help to maintain individual records for each pupil.
to provide escort and assistance to children as necessary.
assist the classroom teacher in creating an environment that is conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interests of the pupils.
to help plan daily and long-range lessons and classroom activities.
to conduct learning exercises with small groups of pupils.
perform any other duty within the scope of these responsibilities and her personal competence as may be required from time to time.
Adhere to the mission and philosophy of ICS School with enthusiasm, commitment, and integrity.
Attend all curriculum trainings and Professional Developments (American Curriculum).

Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. Patience and ability to work with diverse students.
Requirements: Relevant experience in an educational setting. Degree or certification in education. English - fluent.
