• To ensure the implementation and compliance of all Group policies, procedures and guidelines.
• Technical, procedural, and behavioral leadership, and mentoring of more junior staff, to ensure minimum standards of health and safety, quality, and ethics are maintained in undertaking all project and other activities.
• Collection, analysis and application of the Project technical specifications issued by the Client and according to international standards bodies and applicable legal requirements.
• Reviews and comment on client' technical documentation and requirements.
• Executes assigned activities such as input to the design, verification and studies relevant to any discipline engineering topic.
• Contributes to design and engineering optimization in term of costs, fabrication and HSSE.
• Assists the Engineering Manager for solving technical problems arising during Project development and for interfacing/supporting the internal/external contracting and procurement department.
• Execution / verification and analysis of design and as-build documentation, including the engineering activities of third parties and/or sub-Contractors.
• Able to review drawings and design documents for compliance with the requirements of norms, standards, regulations, specifications of the RoK, of the client and international.
• Development of documents - General Explanatory Note, Construction Method Plan, and other documents included in the package of documents submitted for state expertise and monitoring approval to state authorities.
• Development of construction schedule, calculation of necessary resources (human resources, equipment, etc.) for each construction period;
• Development of construction layout plan with arrangement of facilities and equipment at construction site, decisions on implementation of geodetic survey, safety precautions, selection of temporary storage sites for building materials, equipment, construction equipment during construction and installation work.
The candidate should know:
• The requirements of the legislation, as well as the regulatory legal acts and technical documents governing the design, construction, and operation of water supply, sewage, fire protection, and drainage systems.
• The regulatory documents and standards related to the design and operation of water supply and wastewater systems, as well as fire protection systems, including current SNIP, GOST, SP, and NPBs.
• Technical specifications and guidelines for the development and documentation of project estimates for engineering systems.
• Methods of design, hydraulic calculations, and technical and economic justifications for the systems being designed.
• The technology of designing, constructing, and installing water supply, sewage, drainage, and fire protection systems.
• Types and properties of materials used in engineering systems, including pipelines, pumping stations, water treatment systems, and fire-fighting installations.
• Design and modeling tools for engineering systems (e.g., CAD, BIM, hydraulic calculation programs).
• The basics of patent law and intellectual property related to the design of engineering systems.
• Best practices in the design and construction of water supply, sewage, fire protection, and drainage systems.
• Economic, environmental, and social requirements for the designed facilities, including issues of energy efficiency and sustainability.
• Mandatory safety, labor protection, and environmental protection requirements during the design and operation of engineering systems.
• The ability to analyze and make changes to project documentation based on the evolving needs of the client and new regulatory requirements.
Skills:
• Ability to use specialized software for design and hydraulic calculations (e.g. AutoCAD, Revit, FluidFlow, WaterCAD, Bentley WaterGEMS, etc.).

Education:
• Education: Bachelor degree in engineering is minimum requirement; Master degree preferred.
• Language skills: Russian and English is mandatory. Kazakh is advantage.
• Professional experience: Min 15 years – technical experience.
