Position Summary
KIMEP University College of Human Sciences and Education invites applications for 1 Senior Lecturer/Assistant Professor position. The position is a twelve-month (including vacation period) full-time academic appointment to begin on 15 August 2026, with possibility of extension. Responsibilities include teaching, research, scholarly activities, advising, and service.
We seek talented instructors enthusiastic about teaching bachelor’s students and serving the university, the local community and the profession. We are looking for faculty who can teach Introductory Psychology and Mental Health courses, as well as General Education courses such as Academic Writing, Academic Speaking, Critical Thinking, Cultural Studies, etc.
Minimum Qualifications
Expertise is desired in the following areas: Psychology. Candidates with backgrounds in psycholinguistics, cultural studies, or other related fields may be considered.
Applicants should have:
a Master’s degree in a relevant field from an internationally-recognized, accredited university; at least 3-5 years of teaching experience in reputable universities; prior research publications or clear evidence of research potential.For all instructors experience with course and learning design is strongly desired. Familiarity with CIS countries or similar international experience is welcome.
