The Internal Auditor will be responsible for delivering a full audit cycle as well as providing strategic advisory to the Executive Office. This includes risk assessment, internal control evaluation, policy development, audit execution, reporting, and cross functional coordination. Key Responsibilities
1. Internal Audit & Risk Management
- Conduct and oversee the full audit cycle, including operational effectiveness, financial reliability, internal controls, and compliance.
- Develop audit scope, annual schedule and plan, and methodologies.
- Identify and assess key business risks (Risks Map development) and propose mitigation strategies.
- Continuously review and improve internal control tools and processes.
- Monitor compliance systems to ensure timeliness, accuracy, and adherence to regulations.
- Ensure confidentiality and compliance in procurement related processes.
2. Strategic Advisory & Executive Support
- Provide expert advice to executive leadership on risk, compliance, governance, and organizational efficiency.
- Support execution of strategic plans, high level initiatives, and executive agendas.
- Facilitate executive decision-making through coordinated communication across departments.
3. Policy Development & Governance
- Draft, review, and implement internal policies and executive directives.
- Ensure alignment with legislation, standards, and strategic objectives.
- Recommend improvements to existing organizational processes and controls.
4. Reporting, Analysis & Presentation
- Prepare clear, data driven reports, briefings, and presentations for senior leadership.
- Present audit findings and strategic recommendations with clarity and impact.
- Maintain communication with management and relevant committees.
5. Stakeholder Engagement
- Serve as a liaison between the Executive Office and internal/external stakeholders.
- Ensure clarity in directives, initiatives, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships across the organization.
6. Additional Responsibilities
- Support special projects and high-priority initiatives as assigned.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Audit, Finance, or related fields. Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
- Minimum 5–7 years of experience in audit, accounting, finance, or related areas.
- Minimum 1 year of management experience preferred.
- Experience in internal audit within corporate, financial, or regulatory environments is an advantage.
- CIA (priority), ACCA, CPA, or equivalent certifications/trainings are preferred.
