Your future role

You'll play a key role in ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety in our projects, making a significant impact on the reliability and excellence of our operations. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (such as project managers, operational teams, and supplier quality teams), perform audits, and ensure compliance with quality standards, and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of interfacing with customer quality and safety teams, as well as establishing and implementing Project Quality Plans, but also supporting project teams in preparing and following up on gate reviews and action plans.
We’ll look to you for:
Being the interface with the customer quality and safety teams
Establishing the Project Quality Plan and ensuring its proper application during contract execution in line with Alstom processes and contract requirements
Supporting project teams in preparing gate reviews and following up on related action plans
Reporting quality and safety alerts
Ensuring quality of modifications made during the project and proper implementation of safety assessments
Controlling project deliverables compliance through inspections and audits to authorize delivery to customers
Ensuring non-conformances during bogie manufacturing, assembly, and operations are identified, tracked, and resolved prior to service acceptance
Providing expertise to operational teams to prevent or resolve quality issues
Sending weekly and monthly reports to the WCA Deputy Quality Director
Performing audits for project departments and ensuring workstation audits are in place
Interfacing with the supplier quality team to ensure supplier audits and First Article Inspections are conducted as per Alstom requirements
Supporting the implementation of the Quality Management System (QMS)

Higher education from a University or Technical Institute (Railway education is preferable)
Minimum of 3–5 years in a technical or equivalent position, or 1–2 years in a QA/QC position
Knowledge of principles related to locomotive maintenance (desired)
Understanding of quality standards (, ISO9001, IRIS, CMMI, ECM) and quality tools
Experience in operational activities and documentation management
Advanced familiarity with QC requirements for RoK and Maintenance Railway standards
Proficient computer skills, particularly in MS Office: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Problem-solving ability and strong interpersonal skills
Collaboration and teamwork
High-level proficiency in English, required level – Advanced / C2
