We are looking for a Product Owner with strong industrial experience to bridge advanced technology and the realities of on-site operations. In this role, you will represent the voice of the customer, translating the needs of Chief Engineers, Construction Site Managers, and senior mine leadership into a clear, actionable product roadmap.

Responsibilities:
Product Management and Strategy

• Conduct in-depth interviews with key industrial stakeholders to convert field needs into actionable user stories
• Own, manage, and prioritize the product backlog using MoSCoW and RICE frameworks
• Lead sprint planning and work closely with R&D teams to deliver high-impact product increments
• Validate product hypotheses through rapid prototyping and on-site testing
• Calculate ROI and prepare feasibility studies (FS) for pilot projects

Go-to-Market & Business Growth:

• Lead negotiations with pilot customers and present technical solutions to investment and procurement committees
• Define product positioning for mining, construction, and energy sectors
• Package complex R&D initiatives for enterprise procurement processes and grant programs
• Manage the commercial journey from initial pitch through full-scale deployment

Requirements:
Product Leadership & Industry Expertise

• 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager in B2B enterprise software
• Proven experience delivering products in Agile / Scrum environments
• Strong understanding of CAPEX/OPEX structures, NPV, ROI, and procurement/legal specifics of the Kazakhstan industrial market
• Ability to communicate effectively with on-site industrial leaders and translate operational pain points into technical requirements

Industry Background:

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in mining, construction, or energy
• Understanding of OEE, downtime impact, Health & Safety (HSE) standards, and the economics of industrial optimization

Languages:

• Fluent Russian
• Upper-Intermediate (B2+) English

Nice to Have:

• Experience working with AI/ML-based products (e.g. Computer Vision, Vision-Language Models)
• Familiarity with Edge Computing or IoT ecosystems
• Professional certifications (e.g. CSPO – Certified Scrum Product Owner)
• Basic knowledge of Kazakh is a strong advantage
