About
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive QA Specialist with 3+ years of experience to join our quality assurance team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality software through thorough testing and performance validation. You’ll work closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams to design test strategies, write test cases, and integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines. Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans, test suites and regression scenarios based on project requirements,
Perform functional, regression and integration testing of software components,
Conduct performance and stress testing when needed,
Prepare and configure test environments (test benches),
Analyze backend requests/responses and validate data flow between frontend and backend,
Use Chrome DevTools to inspect markup, classes, styles, tokens, cookies and network data,
Document test results, defects and improvements using Jira/Confluence,
Participate in product quality control throughout the entire development cycle,
Design and write automated functional and load tests (basic automation).
3+ years of experience as a QA Specialist or Software QA Engineer,
Technical education (Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related),
Strong understanding of the software development process,
Experience with functional testing, test design, and writing clear test cases,
Experience with performance/stress testing and test management tools,
Confident use of task trackers (Jira, Confluence),
Basic experience working with Windows/Linux command line (running commands, navigating directories, checking logs, etc.),
Basic understanding of SQL databases (connecting, running simple queries, updating fields in tables when preparing test environments),
Confident use of Chrome DevTools:
Inspecting layout, classes, styles, fonts, spacing,
Working with tokens and cookies,
Reviewing backend requests/responses in Network tab,
Ability to understand what data is sent to the backend and what comes back.
Good communication and problem solving skills,
Fluency in Russian and English.
Nice-to-have
Experience with integrating testing into CI/CD (Jenkins/GitLab).
Experience with version control systems (Git).
Experience with virtual machines.
