The Senior Service Engineer provides advanced technical support throughout the full equipment lifecycle — including inspection, diagnostics, repairs, commissioning and performance optimization of Sandvik crushing and screening equipment. Responsibilities include
-Conducting field service activities, troubleshooting and restoring equipment to safe and reliable operation;
-Executing commissioning and technical start-up of Sandvik crushers, screens and feeders
-Classifying and processing Warranty Claims, providing root-cause analyses and improvement recommendations;
-Performing equipment selection and configuration calculations using PlantDesigner and SalesTools, ensuring accurate production release;
-Providing operational and maintenance guidance to customers and distributors;
-Ensuring accurate and timely documentation of work performed in Salesforce and required internal systems;
-Using ROAM to assess risks and implement EHS requirements prior to work execution;
-Leading technical tasks and coordinating activities on-site to achieve service excellence;
-Training, coaching and supporting junior service personnel;
-Building strong, professional relationships with customer representatives on behalf of the Company.
The position requires frequent business travel up to 75% of working time, hands-on work in challenging field conditions and strong technical decision-making. The Senior Service Engineer demonstrates solid technical expertise, communication skills and customer focus while acting in accordance with Sandvik values, ethical standards and safety culture.
