Your day-to-day:

• Lead, plan, organize and control Material Quality and Specification activities to provide Operations and other relevant departments with full services in a timely and accurate manner. Ensure that all activities are performed in accordance with PMI Requirements and Quality Systems;
• Consistently apply OPEN+ systems and tools;
• Ensure compliance to all PMI and legal standards, policies and guidelines related to Environment, Health, Safety, Sustainability to prevent personnel, asset, or societal loss;
• Act and promote an interdependent and transparent safety culture fostering the utilization of preventive/predictive approach in line with Open+/IOS;
• SUPPLIERS COLLABORATION: Ensure solid partnership with suppliers is build, focusing on collaboration and information exchange in order to ensure excellent DIMs quality and improve DIMs performance and its impact on product quality, machines efficiency and production costs. Periodically evaluate suppliers’ performance in order to proactively involve the key ones and take actions in case of performance decrease;
• NON-CONFORMITIES / CAPAIA: Ensure that nonconformities are raised and investigated in a timely manner and products blocked when required. Approve/reject all non-conformities raised to her/his level. Ensure CAPAIA and quality improvement opportunities are identified, prioritized and action plans determined to support the organization through continuous improvement. Review/approve CAPAIA of her/his department. Support the business on factory and suppliers Quality Audits;
• INNOVATION / CHANGE MANAGEMENT: Ensure effective process for testing of new materials, special packaging projects and cigarettes/RRP prototyping as requested by Product Development, Supply Chain, Production, or other stakeholders. Ensure that the process change management is carried out when required. Review/approve documents as tests, protocols, reports and QMS related documents;
• MATERIALS MANAGEMENT: Ensure support to manufacturing in order to improve DIMs performance and its impact on product quality, machines efficiency and production costs. Ensure data & trend analysis on DIM performance is established to evaluate and deploy improvement opportunities. Assure timely support in case of any quality problems encountered on DIMs, providing accurate action plan and solution to immediately reduce the negative impact on production KPIs;

• College/University/Master degree in Biological sciences, Physical sciences, Chemistry, Engineering or equivalent education;
• Have at least 2 years of experience in Quality / Manufacturing departments in tobacco, food, pharmaceutical or similar industry;
• Well-developed IT skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, SAP, PLM);
• Knowledge on Quality tools, I&IM and Quality Pillar DMSs & SWPs, root cause analysis, analytical skills, statistical tool knowledge would be asset;
• Have strong communication & interpersonal skills, collaborative, a team player, customer oriented, a quick learner and have attention for detail;
• Advanced knowledge of international standards (ISO);
• Knowledge on pharmaceutical and/or medical device industry regulations would be considered as an additional asset. Project Management and Change Management skills;
• Proficiency in English Upper-Intermediate is preferable.
