About the Role

We are looking for a talented software engineer to join our team and take ownership of an existing web application hosted on Vercel and Render. You will improve the current software, implement new features, optimize performance, and ensure the platform is scalable and maintainable.

This is a hands-on, strategic role: you will not only implement code but also influence architecture and user experience improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve the existing software application hosted on Vercel and Render.
• Implement new features and enhancements based on product needs and user feedback.
• Optimize the application for performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software issues in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Ensure code quality through testing, code reviews, and documentation.
• Suggest improvements to architecture, deployment processes, and developer workflows.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong experience with JavaScript / TypeScript, Node.js, and frontend frameworks (React, Next.js).
• Hands-on experience with Vercel deployment, serverless functions, and related tooling.
• Experience deploying and maintaining applications on Render or similar cloud platforms.
• Understanding of database systems (SQL or NoSQL) and API integrations.
• Familiarity with Git workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks.

Preferred / Bonus Skills

• Experience with GraphQL or other API frameworks.
• Knowledge of performance optimization techniques for web applications.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools.
• UX/UI sense to contribute to frontend improvements.
