Dentons Kazakhstan seeks to hire a full-time mid-level Associate to join its highly regarded Banking & Finance team.

Responsibilities:

1. Assisting clients with a wide range of banking and finance matters which could relate to (i) debt and equity capital markets; (ii) derivatives and repo transactions; (iii) lending transactions; (iv) regulatory advice; and (v) drafting of legislative amendments;
2. Handling multiple legal matters simultaneously; and
3. Building the knowledge and capacity of junior associates.

Requirements:

1. 3-6 years of experience in banking and finance with a large corporate organization, financial institution or a reputable law firm;
2. LLM or a similar degree from an elite university is a plus;
3. Fluency in English and Russian languages is a must;
4. Knowledge of the documentation prepared by ISDA and ICMA is a plus;
5. Knowledge of AIFC law is a plus;
6. Detail-oriented with strong communication, time management, research, analytical, and writing skills;
7. Strong work ethic, hard work and resilience.
