We invite a talented, detail-oriented Test Engineer with Python automation experience to join our team. You’ll play a key part in ensuring top-notch software quality for a trusted leader in the Point of Sale industry. You’ll work closely with our multinational development team to design and implement automated tests, helping deliver reliable, high-quality software experiences to retail and restaurant businesses and their customers worldwide.

2+ years of experience in test automation using Python and pytestSolid hands-on experience with Selenium and Appium for UI testingStrong understanding of CI/CD processesProficiency with Git for version controlAbility to understand and work with complex testing documentationStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsIntermediate+ English levelProactivity, quick learning ability, and excellent communication skillsStrong time management and organizational skillsUnderstanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile teams

Desirable:

Hands-on experience with JenkinsUnderstanding of Docker and containerized environmentsWorking knowledge of AWSExperience with MongoDB

🧩Key responsibilities and your contribution

In this role, you’ll be an essential contributor to the development process, with responsibilities including test planning, test case design, and test automation using industry-leading tools and frameworks.

Write and maintain automated tests using Python and pytestDevelop and support UI tests with Selenium and AppiumExtend and maintain the test automation frameworkAnalyze test results, investigate failures, and report bugsRe-run failed tests and monitor build stabilityMaintain and update test-related documentationCollaborate with developers, QA, and other teams across the SDLCWork with the team’s backlog and participate in daily meetings and other agile ceremoniesWork with Git for version control and participate in code reviewsUnderstand and contribute to CI/CD processesStay up to date with new tools, frameworks, and testing best practices
