The Coordinator shall perform the following job duties:
1. Manage operations related to the receipt, storage, and issuance of inventory items in warehouses, including their placement for optimal space usage, ease and speed of retrieval and issuance, and ensuring the safety and integrity of stored materials. Organize work related to obtaining required licensing and permitting documentation;
2. Manage operations involving the receipt, storage, and issuance of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances, precursors, and toxic agents in specialized warehouses, including their placement for optimal space utilization and safe storage. Organize work related to obtaining licensing and permitting documentation;
3. Ensure the safety and proper storage conditions of inventory items, maintain records of warehouse operations, and participate in inventory counts of inventory items and strictly controlled substances;
4. Ensure proper documentation and submission of incoming and outgoing inventory records, and compile prescribed reports. Maintain records of inventory movements;
5. Monitor the availability and proper functioning of fire protection equipment, the condition of warehouse premises, equipment, and tools, and ensure timely repairs;
6. Organize and supervise the issuance and receipt of inventory items and loading/unloading operations in compliance with labor safety regulations, occupational health standards, and fire safety rules; ensure collection, storage, and timely return of reusable containers to suppliers;
7. Participate in inventory counts of inventory items;
8. Monitor occupational safety conditions and take corrective actions to eliminate identified deficiencies and violations of occupational health standards or safety instructions;
9. Ensure that employees observe work discipline and propose disciplinary measures for violations;
10. Participate in the identification, assessment, management, and monitoring of risks within the scope of responsibilities;
11. Assume the duties and functions of the Senior Manager of the Department in the procurement sphere during his/her temporary absence (for up to one month);
12. Timely and properly carry out assignments from the immediate supervisor and University management;
13. Comply with the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan and internal regulations of the University;
14. Ensure adherence to labor and official discipline;
15. Be responsible for maintaining the integrity of official documents, preventing the disclosure or leakage of confidential and business information or information with restricted access in accordance with the law, the Charter, and internal documents of the Employer;
16. In the event of dismissal, ensure the timely transfer of all paper documentation, digital information, and inventory to another employee as instructed by the immediate supervisor (through a transfer-acceptance act).
Education:
Higher professional education, preferably from institutions where instruction is conducted in English.
