College Counselor ( for the next academic year 2025-2026)
Spectrum International School is seeking a qualified and dedicated College Counselor to guide and support Secondary school students in their post-secondary planning. The College Counselor plays a vital role in helping students identify their academic and career goals and navigate the complex process of applying to universities worldwide.
Responsibilities:
Provide one-on-one and group counseling to students in grades 6–12 on college and career planning.
Assist students with the entire university application process, including university selection, application strategy, essays, CVs, and interview preparation.
Organize and lead college information sessions, application workshops, and presentations for students and parents.
Build and maintain strong relationships with international universities and admissions representatives.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of global higher education trends, admission requirements, and scholarship opportunities.
Work closely with school leadership, academic counselors, and teachers to support students’ academic and personal development.
Prepare recommendation letters and school reports as needed.
Be an active presence in the school.
Our requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Education, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
Minimum 1 year of experience in college counseling or university admissions.
Strong understanding of international university admissions (US, UK, Canada, EU, Asia, etc.).
Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Fluency in English is required.
Experience working with international students is an advantage.
