Procurement Specialist responsible for:
- Develop and manage quotes for new and existing vendors, recommend improvements to delivery processes, handle purchase order requests, and oversee change orders in alignment with ERP procedures.
- Conduct regular vendor visits, facilitate supplier audits, support customer requirements, perform vendor risk assessments, and foster strong supplier relationships.
- Design and implement cost-effective procurement strategies, monitor inventory levels for repair parts and supplies, identify vendors for new requirements, evaluate purchase requisitions, and ensure compliance with ISO purchasing standards.
- Manage purchase orders from approved sources, secure necessary approvals, oversee procurement of goods and services for corporate offices, and obtain competitive quotations from selected vendors.
- Track and follow up on purchase orders with suppliers and customers, coordinate pricing requests with vendors, monitor bidding activities, and recommend optimal sourcing solutions for corporate operations.
- Control purchasing costs, ensure target achievement, conduct market tests, and collaborate with engineering and sales teams to resolve supplier-related issues and improve procurement strategies.
- Provide training to team members, design effective systems and procedures, maintain up-to-date knowledge of key procurement data, and ensure efficient production planning and regulatory compliance.
- Analyze samples and technical drawings, perform calculations to meet requirements, coordinate with vendors to design products to specifications, and build professional relationships to negotiate optimal pricing and value for all products.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Experience in procurement or a similar role.
• Excellent mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced user of Excel, Word, Power Point
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Outstanding interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Highly organized with a keen attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
• Advanced proficiency in English and Russian.
